Anyone ever take an Alzheimer's assessment test

Sounds like one my niece found for me (with my permission) I took it a while back, but it had questions like remembering a series of words and then responding with them later in the test. I took it a while back, and do not remember all the questions..about 10 of them.
I also do not remember how it was graded. Oh..it is February 31st

My doctor used to give me one like that, it was graded up to 30. Scoring under 25 you wouldn't be able to hold a job apparently. Last one I scored 26, haven't taken one since, I retired, I don't need to hold a job.

Another popular one is by St Louis University - SLUMS. My lovely SO took it a couple of years ago. I've looked at it on line but never had to take it. Not sure I want to know...

A retired nurse I know used to give these tests. She just failed when she took it herself recently. She knows things aren’t right.

Not a complete assessment, only a memory test. I have an appointment with a neurologist next month to determined if a CET scan is necessary.

Havenā€˜t taken an Alzheimers test, but here is some interesting news on possible methods of prevention, or at least decreasing the likelihood of Alzheimer’s. All the vaccine haters should read this.

ā€œA growing body of evidence, buttressed by a new report out last month, shows that people who are vaccinated have a significantly lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease.ā€
Vaccines Show Surprising Link To Reduced Risk Of Alzheimer’s

The above study focused on a large group of elderly receiving a flu vaccine, but more data indicated a similar advantage imparted by other vaccinations …

ā€In the vaccinated group, nearly 48,000 patients (out of 936,000) developed Alzheimer’s during the four-year follow-up period, about 5.1% of all patients. That might sound like a lot, but in the unvaccinated patients, nearly 80,000 developed Alzheimer’s. To put it another way, patients who got the flu vaccine had a 40% lower risk of Alzheimer’s, 5.1% versus 8.5%.ā€

ā€œFurthermore, with data showing that at least four different vaccines offer similar levels of protection against Alzheimer’s, the evidence indicates that the effect cannot be specific to the flu vaccine, or the Tdap vaccine, or with any of the other vaccines or their ingredients.ā€

The reason or reasons for this astounding data can be debated, but bottom line, the Anti-Vaxers should reconsider the wisdom of their decision.

That test is part of the Wellness exam my doctor gives. What a waste of my time.....I think. Can't remember....haha.
