Yes. We bought one from a physio place. I have used it for my foot before I bought custom orthotics. I have recently used my machine for my sore shoulder. Both times it helped me.

Mine never worked on my lower back ( herniated discs), and it was loaned to me by the hopsital so I know it was a very good quality... but in fact it just seemed to irritate it more...

They used to do those treatments on me at the chiropractor when I was younger for my back. It helped a lot.
