I have an appointment with a new endocrinologist coming up -- FINALLY, after waiting four months (nationwide shortage in this specialty) -- and I'm looking forward to getting a new assessment of my ongoing hypothyroid diagnosis.
I want to reduce my doses of Levothyroxin and Cytomel and get a straight answer from this new doc as to whether I can successfully wean myself off both meds and stay healthy. There are numerous Internet posts from people who claim it can be done -- anecdotal, of course, but that's encouraging.
