Those "junior" Seniors in their 60's won't remember these items.
We got our first TV in 1951, and stopped curling up around the old Philco Console Radio in the evenings for Amos 'n' Andy.
The item I refer to is the tinted plastic filter you fastened in front of your B&W TV screen to simulate a Color picture!
It was tinted green on the bottom and blue on the top, which was fine if your 17" Packard Bell was showing a scene with green grass and blue sky, but all other scenes were a joke!
Ahhh well...there was always Uncle Miltie on Tuesday nights, and he was always funny in black & White!
