Anyone See PBS Frontline On Feb 18 About Amazon?

And if diesel emissions contribute to climate change, he owes it. I have had an Amazon order of six items delivered by five different drivers each driving big diesel delivery trucks.

I live in Houston and I haven't read a newspaper in years. No big loss there.

People post every moment of their lives on Facebook, then want privacy?? Anyone who uses the internet or any of the Siri, Cortana, Alexa, etc. devices gave up their privacy willingly. Privacy has become a unicorn in this world with most letting go without complaint, just to have the latest and greatest technology. Got an iPhone? Apple knows where you've been. Got GPS in your car? Own a fitness tracker? Those are all a drop in the bucket.

Bezos had an excellent business strategy as witnessed by his willingness to go years without a profit to make his business a success. I have no doubt that at some point, Amazon's empire will be splintered by anti-trust laws or such. As for all the ridiculous complaints that Amazon pays no taxes... first that's absurd and second, they follow the TAX LAWS of this country. So they'd be really stupid to not use those laws to advantage.

Bezos is rich and the sky is falling. Yawn.

Love Amazon. That is one place I can find anything . I admire Bezos and the way he started his business. I always check Walmart first and then Amazon. Between the two I can get anything need.
Same here, Terry. Since I am an avid reader, books from Amazon were my very first online purchase back in 1996. Wow, the money I have spent in those 24 years.

Me three. Getting books from Amazon are usually here the next day. I like that there’s an amazon guarantee and that my credit card is on file so I don’t have to mess with that every single time I purchase. The search feature is helpful and since there’s so much fierce competition, the prices , great. Quite often you can find things cheaper on Amazon.

I get them on my kindle also and they arrive in minutes.... (y)

I like having my credit card on file too, Keesha. I keep a close watch on my credit cards as I had some charges on one that I had to dispute. Someone charged $95.00 worth of makeup at Macys in New York with one of my cards. Found out that that a girl that cut my hair at Supercuts stole several clients credit card numbers and used them. They promptly fired her and we all got credits on our cards! What little makeup I wear can be purchased at Dollar Tree easily!

Don't ask anything about the documentary if you have not seen it.
I have seen it; I posted the video on the first page of this thread. In fact, I watched it again today with my husband.

My question was specific to YOU. What do you fear from Amazon and does it actually affect your life? And don't tell me what to post.
