AOL's dial-up service goes silent

I turned mine into coasters.
yes , however we had hundreds at one point.... and an Antique expert friend of mine told me years ago that the valuable antiques in future will be the disposable items of today... so I have a box fiull of disposable items still in their original packaging..including Macdonalds toys...from abck in the 80's

AOL was my official introduction to the interwebz. Loved all the chatrooms and the layout of the site at the time..early 90s. I know people who still have their AOL email addresses. They use them mainly as throw away addresses

I still have my AOL email addresses... I used to use them as junk mail addresses, but I haven't used them in a very long time.. I might actually have a look at them now.. probably a million junk mails if they still exist lol
