Wow Jazzy were you awake all night thinking up these things?

I used it on those black and white shoes that got so popular, which I
hated and no idea why I wore them. Well actually at the park I took
them off and ran barefoot as much as possible.

There were a couple different styles of Saddle shoes. I did not Like the more boxy style.

My cousins wore what they called Gumdrop Saddle Shoes, similar to these, but in black & white. Mom couldn’t afford them for me, so I admired them from afar on my cousin’s feet

Nice shoes!

I remember the tongue part of my sneaker/trainer was a pain to polish. Also if I pressed too hard on the sponge applicator, a whole lot of polish would come out. What a mess.

No, I've never had white shoes. But all my adult life, I've used liquid black and liquid brown made by Kiwi. I haven't been able to find it, and the paste kind never works well. A few weeks ago, I found a good black liquid at Dollar General called "Step Ahead." - They also have it in brown.

I use exactly the same. In fact just yesterday I was out in the cold garden polishing 2 pairs of walking boots on the table using the Black Kiwi polish...

I also love the scuff cover polish as well... I've used that since Dd was tiny... I used to be able to get it in every colour but now it's only available in Black & brown

Thanks for the tip about where to find the liquid polish. A while back I searched high and low and finally found black paste at a shoe repair shop in Wichita. Pricey!

Back when babies wore those high top white baby shoes (I still have my first pair that my parents had "bronzed" and mounted on a plaque), we freshened them up with that polish.

Heaven forbid your darling didn't have the most sparkling white shoes on the playground....

Stride Rites!!!

Yes ma’am, my son’s father would work overtime when our son needed a new pair of Stride Rite shoes. There was only one shoe store in our nearest city that carried them.

We still have a drawer in the laundry room that’s dedicated to shoe polishes and sprays to protect against wet weather. Not sure why. Maybe black or brown I can understand. Even then I can just use a neutral cream or a polish sponge.
