Are the temps too cold where you are??

Yesterday was cold and snowing, didn't get out of the teens. I decided to take the day off from walking the dog, he goes every day, but doesn't need to be walking around in the snow in such frigid temps. Today is near 40 degrees and sunny, tomorrow will be around 50. I welcome snow (or rain), everything has been bone dry, drought conditions.

Oh, gosh, had that happen at my house every winter. At least once a winter with the water heater. and also with the frozen pipes...even with heat tape around the pipes. I am so glad to be out of that place.
 
Yes, too cold here but not as cold as it has gotten before. The rainy mix we've had have made it feel colder and I've turned the heat way up. I get such a chill with rain in the air. This is not the worst for sure but I believe many colder temperatures are coming our way. It's about 24 degrees F now. With the wind chill in the teens.
 
Not too cold for me at 18 degrees. I look forward to winter so no problem for me. I have heat and warm clothes. Hot coffee. Today I will be going out in it and can actually wear long sleeves under my coat.
 
We absolutely detest winter. Yes, right now its freezing. Back up in the 60's later today so they say. Can't wait.
 
On the colder side today .. -18C .. it snowed yesterday. Can't complain. So far, we haven't had much in the way of snow or very low temps. Just have to dress appropriately. I've got 3 different weights of coats for winter. Today, I'll wear the warmest one, unless the temp rises somewhat before we go out.
 
You know, if the temp would decrease gradually, it wouldn't be so bad but when it goes from 79 yesterday to 32 F today, it packs a whollop!
 
This last week has been rather cold...with some morning temperatures in the single digits. It looks like January is going to be a series of ups and downs....with the "downs" winning, most days.
 
Was +9F -12.8c here at 7 am. today. Not warming up much. Will be about the same & very cold all January. December we were in the high 40s 4.4c most of the month
