Are there any past American Idol (or your local Idol version) contestants who you listen to regularly?

It doesn't have to be a winner, it can just be someone who was a contestant and didn't win.

For me I've always loved Haley Reinhart's voice since I first heard her and there are a number of her songs that are in my rotation playlist. She was on the 10th season of American Idol and came in third.

I follow Haley as well. She's an exceptional singer blessed with a unique voice. You can see where she gets her love for music in this video recorded last fall with her father at Chess Records ("Can't Find My Way Home" and an original song off her 4th album titled, "Don't Know How to Love You"):

American Idol is a spin off of our Pop Idol, which was owned by Simon Fuller..Simon Cowells' partner...

it ultimately became the X factor owned and hosted for many years now by Simon Cowell

I watched the first couple of seasons but haven't watched it for years now..

Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis were winners among others who went onto great things among others... but I've always loved this by one of the winners.. Shayne Ward

I have not watched AI in years but when I did I especially enjoyed Carrie Underwood's season. Funny though I don't really care for the songs she has put out in her professional career.

My wife still listens to Taylor Hicks. We saw him at a Casino in Kansas City, back in the day.
I was one of the few men in the audience ( mostly husbands like myself ).

The room was mostly 'Blue-Haired ladies', who really enjoyed the show.😲

I don't care much for Idol anymore. The last few "auditions" I watched were terrible. The voices were horrible and then to watch them being praised by the 3 judges were hard to watch. Its bad when I can tell they cannot sing and yet go on to Hollywood!

I do enjoy "The Voice" auditions. They are more realistic to me. Just my opinion, of course.
