Shameless Saturday: A new series of stories have been posted to my website.
Scott is a new “Cub” reporter for a small town paper. These cub reporter stories are based on his various assignments. All are fiction. Some are based on fact. A couple of them might even make you laugh. <Read them HERE>
 

I read and write both. It depends on my mood and if I'm "working" or relaxing.
 

I like mystery short stories, but they're hard to find. So I slog through novels, with all kinds of local color and drivel about the detective's family and what music he listens to.

Sometimes I find other short stories (not mysteries). Some are excellent.
 
I subscribe to 5 science fiction short story magazines, some hardcopy, some digital: Lightspeed, Galaxy's Edge, Asimov's, Analog, Fantasy & Science Fiction. I used to subscribe to Ellery Queen Mystery and Hitchcock's Mystery magazines but got tired of them; seemed like all the mystery stories were about someone trying to get away with murdering their spouse...over and over.
