Are you growing more skeptical with age??

I have been a skeptic most of my adult life and studied famous skeptics. The word is empty until you refer to why and what you are skeptical, specifically with good reasons. Otherwise discussion wanders without purpose.

In older times, people meant religious beliefs, other religions. Originally, it meant skeptical of knowing things, in general
such as sense knowledge. The media? We should say what source, specifically, and why. You should be cynical of government to a point but not every single official or legislator.
Most people have no real evidence for their skepticism, so you should be skeptical of their skepticism.

We're constantly bombarded with crap from every angle about all sorts of things. The information highway is a rocky road filled with twists, turns, potholes, and barricades. I'm as skeptical as I've always been, and with good reason. 🤨
