Are You Indoorsy or Outdoorsy?

I have to say I'm outdoorsy. I love walking in the woods, the ocean, camping, hiking and watching wildlife. To just soak in the beauty of the stars at night in a remote location with no city lights is awesome to me. I've seen the Northern Lights in Alaska and Canada and I was very impressed with Mother Nature's light show.

What about you? Rather stay indoors with the modern conveniences and be bug-free, or explore the wilds and enjoy the birds, listen to the breezes rustling the tree leaves, etc.?

I get absolutely squirrely being inside too long. Raining freezing days and I'll walk laps in Target. But like you say fresh air and green woodlands n' wide open space. I remember this road I used to walk in PA. After dark there were no street light even. You literally could not see your hand in front of your face unless the moon was shining right...but so tranquil.

Both Sea. Depends on the weather. I prefer WARM temps though.

Rather wear shorts & Tees than bundling up.

Had enuff of that when I lived in Michigan.

Both. I love tramping around in a muddy pasture on a misty day bringing in a muddy horse, as long as I am warmly layered up and wearing wellies. I love being barefoot by the ocean, or, preferably, in the ocean. Or by a lake. Or in a garden. I love being outdoors after dark as long as there are no spiders around.

I also love sitting inside, with the air-conditioning on and no spiders or other bugs, reading a good book, watching a favorite TV program, playing online, or snuggling with the kitties.

I would love a house with a screen porch.

I'm like you Falcon. It depends on the weather. Also prefer summer to winter. Used to live in Ohio.

Outdoorsy.

When I'm home, no matter what the weather (which never gets extreme here), several windows and the big sliding glass door out to the yard stay open so that it feels sort of outdoorsy even when I'm in. Away from home I won't stay in a place if I can't at least open some windows.

Outdoorsy. I generally go out every morning at least. Whether it be walking, cycling, gardening, the hills I like to get some air and exercise. Just now, it is mostly cycling. During the winter, it is mostly walking.

Definitely both. I love the outdoors and go nuts when it's like 10 below zero with a wind chill. Eek. But in the spring, summer, and fall, it's hard to find me indoors except for work.

The beauties of nature never get stale for me. I live in an area where we have 4 seasons and it's lovely to watch them change, the speical allure of each different season captivates the senses.

Outdoorsy.

I have a huge patio in the back.I have like a small oasis of my own.
My plants ,my swinging seating.at night,I light my candles and just swing away my worries.its so peaceful.

The neighbors light a pitfire sometimes and you can hear the crackling sound.

Love it.

Love beaches and ocean waves and sunshine, going for a walk or riding my bike along our lakeshore, sitting on my balcony and watching the sun set -- all those things, but forget about the rigorous wilderness hiking trails and rock climbing.

I love the outdoors. As a kid our family would always go on picnics. Not to parks but out in the woods. We would park the car, hike into the woods with my Dad carrying a big wicker picnic basket. We would find a nice spot, My Mom would lay out an old blanket and we would have lunch. These days the heat gets to me, I try to do my gardening early in the morning. We went to California a few years back and saw the Sequoia trees. For me, it beat out the Grand Canyon. I loved the stillness of it. In a way, kind of humbling.

Outdoorsy I am a person who could completely live off the grid. Self sufficient, weather not an issue, skills to survive even in a zombies apocalypse lol.. I dream of being one of those live in a cabin in the woods gals..

If I do not see trees I go into withdrawal. Have my doors facing my woods open all the time....unless it is very cold. Could never live in a apartment...surrounded by people, cars, stores, parking lots ect. My children say I would shrivel up and die.

Definitely Outdoors. Unless the weather is miserable, I am outdoors at least 4 to 6 hours a day doing yard work, and working in the forest, etc.,etc. This routine keeps me fit and healthy. A bad day is being trapped in the house having to spend hours on the computer or watching TV.

Big outdoorsy in the past, but time has forced me into a big indoorsey...
