Stealing my property? Confront it.
Who's turn is it to control the remote? Minor, nonplussed.
If the other person carried on, give it to them and walk away

it depends on the to-do. if i actively catch someone porch pirating my stuff i won't hesitate to go beverly hillbilly granny on their ass.

if it's just a verbal dispute i don't bother wasting my breath anymore.

I don't fight for the sake of fighting but wouldn't back down over a more specific important issue especially if it is, or can, hurt me.
