Are you more of a morning person, a night owl or something else?

I'm more of a morning person. I generally like getting up early and love the early morning light. I generally have a very easy time getting out of bed early and being active and alert fairly quickly without any caffeine.

The only time I am thankful I decided I wanted more sleep was when I decided not to try to catch the 6 AM flight out of Boston to Los Angeles on Sept 11, 2001.

Morning all the way!

Mornings to me are the best time of day, they're the quietest, because everyone is still asleep, and waking early always makes me feel as though my days are longer with more time to do things.

Always been a morning person, and glad than I am and always have been, because it sure made getting up my kids when they were little a whole lot easier! :)

Morning person here. About 9:30 pm it’s like someone pulls my plug 🔌

I seriously don't know what I am anymore... :ROFLMAO: Right now I am a night owl but in no time I could be a morning person. I sleep according to how I sleep that night and often don't get enough sleep and end up napping and then my hours are thrown off. I used to be a morning person even though mornings never agreed much with me.:sneaky:✨

Deferrably a morning person , spent many many years having to get up early AM for work , and just never readjusted after retiring .

In my 20's early 30's I could sleep in until 9 or 10,those days are long gone
I'm a morning person, every day{weather permitting} I take early morning walk around 6:30-6:45 I walk 2-3 blocks breathing in fresh air, hear birds chirping perfect way to start my day

BOTH.... and sometimes in the same day....
for the last 30 years i have worked a 12 hour swing shift, and have developed permanent jet lag...
I can get 4 hours sleep and good for another 24, many times im up 36 hours at a time with a few short naps...
2-4, day or night, if im awake im sleepy... if asleep i'll wake up....

Something else for me, don't like getting up too early in the morning or staying up too late at night. 7ish in AM, that's usually when I let out the dog, and 11ish for lights out.

I'm definitely an early, early morning person. Unfortunately, I would tend to lose consciousness at my job around 2 PM daily! The brain just quit! Now, I still rise early, but nap through the ends of Netflix shows throughout the day. It would be very hard for me to adapt to a lovely 7-11 wake cycle, although I do envy that!

When I was working, I was always up by 10 AM. And I always worked the second shift. Then I hit the hay somewhere between 2 and 4 AM. I just can't understand why someone, in their right mind, would willingly crawl out of bed at 6:30 AM. There must be some place to send money to aid those pour souls, until they find a cure.

I laughed out loud! Obviously, I am out of my mind! I am usually waking at the hour when you were off to sleep. No reason why! I get tired just waiting for the rest of the world to awaken!

I told my mother I must have been a vampire in another life because I hate sunlight and day time. I have been a night owl since birth. Not really sure why. My mother tells me that when I was a baby I would sleep all day and scream from midnight to 6 a.m. every day.

I'm usually up till 1 a.m. That's pretty much my limit now. Occasionally 2 a.m. I don't like mornings because my brain is in a fog and I can't concentrate or think straight or hold a civil conversation. The bright morning light hurts my eyes. I even keep the house dark all the time.

I function better in the evenings and nights. The longest I can sleep is 12 hrs and I have to be pretty tired to do that. It was worse when I was younger. I am a very cranky person in the mornings and if you dare wake me up at 6 a.m. over something stupid...you better believe I will give you what for. I once scared a telemarketer who called me at 6 a.m. 😁
