Are you real?

With big business and government forcing fake artificial intelligence on us, it is often difficult to determine if you are interacting with real people.

For text "help" it is often an AI chatbot. I actually would prefer these days a foreigner in a call center using a language translator.

Really dislike when you are forced to talk to the phone. And even more when the phone says, Hmm like it's human. I expect that further work is being pursued so that they make it sound and act like a real person.

I just received an email from Walmart support. I wonder if the persons name in the signature is even real.

I'm real! I have no problem with AI as I am not on any social media (except this one). So if "Judycat" or "Bell" are robots; it's ok with me. I am not married to them and if they disagree with me I'm not going to lose any sleep over that neither. I'm here because I have a sense of humour and I am not on any trip to reform anyone.

well I can see a few generations coming up close behind us that are gonna be struggling with all this stuff as well - maybe we are getting close to shutting down the universe as we know it?

Aw, ya caught me, I am really a teddy bear.
But, who cares if what's on the other end is a human or a computer program, as long as you get what you need. AI is an extremely sophisticated computer program, which can mimic humans. It's not some kind of hound from hell. While there are questions with any new technology, I think the conspiracy people have latched onto AI.

I was cancelling an account and having trouble doing it. The person told me to go online and do stuff, I told her I don't do online account stuff, I am a senior and there must be a different way. She finally found a non-online way to shut the account off. This AI is rediculous!

If you think that you are in touch with a computer,
ask a question that only a human would understand,
or ask to speak with a Person, Agent, or Human, or
ask for a phone call, one of the above, will get you
through to a human, all you need to do is understand
their version of English.

Mike.
