Arriving during thunderstorm

Hello! Sitting here listening to thunder rumbling and some rain after so many weeks of boiling hot weather.
Found this forum and decided to join.

I like a good thunder storm as well. Don't get as many here as I used to see on the Gulf coast, so when we get a good one its always appreicated.

I'm in New England and we are in a drought.

Where are you..?. no Thunderstorm here, I wish there was after weeks of boiling weather, and high humidity...

Welcome! We, too, in Central Missouri, have had a good rain, over the past 8 hours...I looked my rain gauge an hour ago, and it was showing 2.5 inches...and it's still raining. The thunder and lightning woke us up about 4AM, and the weather radio went off a couple of times with flash flood warnings in a nearby county.
