Art and music in the grocery store!

Gaer

"Angel whisperer"
When I lived in Alaska, I entered the grocery store to find a woman in a long chiffon ball gown
playing classical music on a large grand piano! THIS, in a grocery store!
I was "taken back" a little because it was so unexpected!

Yesterday, I was in line at the check out. The man behind me had a bottle of William Evans bourbon
(so he had excellent taste) Atop it, was a package of Stouffer's lasagna and atop THAT, was poised
a fresh red tomato!
I said, "Oh! It's a sculpture!"
I looked at his other groceries and everything was placed so artistically on the belt, in an intriguing design!
I said, "This is beautiful! You're an artist!"
He looked down, embarrassed.

But, on the way home, I realized LIFE IS ART! With everything we do, we have a choice to do it
in an artistic manner, or not. The way we dress, eat, our speech, the words we choose, the way
we cook, the way we serve the food, the way we sing or dance, walk across the room, our surroundings;
everything we do can be done softly and graciously, with design, with love.
Little joys of art and music in unexpected places delight the senses!

Have you ever encountered something similar?
