Art Bell, the late night radio host who talked about things like UFOs, science and conspiracy theories has died at age 72 in Nevada. He founded Coast to Coast Am the late night nationally syndicated radio broadcast talking about the paranormal.

He was one of kind and one of those who had a great radio voice especially for late night.

RIP

I listened to him for a long time on Coast, unique program and very interesting depending on his topic that night. I thought he was living the Philippines with his new wife, surprised to see he passed on in Nevada. Odd he went on Friday the 13th, I wonder what they will find the cause to be after his autopsy.

Rest peacefully Art.

RIP, Art Bell. I, too, found his radio show while working many years alone on graveyard shift, in computer operations. His topics were fascinating, eye-opening, and sometimes downright frightening. One of my favorites, and scariest, was his yearly Halloween show called Ghost-to-Ghost where callers told their (supposed) real-life ghost stories. I still tune in to George Noory when I have a chance, but it's not the same.

I still listen to George Noory at night with a tiny radio under my pillow, I really like him as a host, and when the topic interests me, it's a very good show. Glad Noory took over, when his fill-ins come on during the weekends, it's not the same.
