As I do, would you consider February our love month?

First, I'd like to thank all the senior forum members for accepting this octogenarian into their forum, and listening to my rambling posts, my stories from days of yore, and making me feel "part of". You have given me my voice back!--and I feel I have found new friends.

With that in mind, it has been proven over and over again that Love isn't love until you give it away. It is the one treasure that is multiplied by dispensation. The following poem details ideal daily love assignments for one to contemplate which in turn will take you to the end of February just brimming over with love.

On This Day

Mend a quarrel.
Search for a forgotten friend.
Dismiss a suspicion and replace it with trust.
Write a letter to someone who misses you.
Encourage someone who has lost faith.
Keep a promise.
Forget an old grudge.
Examine your demands on others, and vow to reduce them.
Fight for a principle.
Express your gratitude.
Overcome an old fear.
Take two minutes to appreciate the beauty of nature.
Tell someone you love him.
Tell him again,
And again,
And again.

I have never thought of any one month as being one for love...I would hope all months would be
Of course with Valentines Day if one had to chose only one..February would be a logical choice.

Well this February it's more like a month for snuggling just to keep warm, and there's nothing like cold feet on your back for killing romance.

1967 was called the SUMMER of love, so that came AFTER February. February is when the sales of roses and Hallmark cards spikes for a short time.

However, Valentine's Day is always a good thing.

February love month - freezing cold and all plant life is dead. Yeah, that does it for me.

For me, every month is a love month. My husband is gone but there are still so many people who enrich my life that I love. And I love interacting with them.
