Asiago tomato melts...

Loathe snacking after supper and into the evening, but... some nights I just can't help it, like tonight.

A few slices of bread (your choice), pizza sauce, layer with a slice of tomato, add a few slices of Asiago cheese over, sprinkle with flaked oregano and black pepper (to taste), pop in oven on broil, so deliciously good!

Been making these for years!

Two for me, and one for uncle Sandy, but seeing how I don't have an uncle Sandy, I ate all three! LOL!

You are so right, nothing beats fresh, but my problem with fresh is, I never have it when I need it.
