Assuming the Covid 19 pandemic is over, will you still wear a mask?

I got vaccinated X2, so I stopped wearing a mask. And wouldn't you know, since i don't have to wear one, NOW I remember I could, when I get out of the car. I'm so used to remembering masks when I get to the front door of the store., and have to back to my car to get the damn thing.. Assuming the Covid 19 pandemic is over, will you still wear a mask?

There was a short time a couple of months ago when indoor masks went from mandatory to optional. During that time I didn't wear a mask & half of the shoppers also didn't. Then the mandate was reinstated after the variants.
Since I've never believed masks protect, I wouldn't wear one unless it was required.

All i know is i caught a lot fewer colds and no flu (even with the annual flu shots i usually caught at least 1 per year, tho thankfully usually very short term) last year and half, so i not only am going to wear a mask in crowded places and keep having sanitizing wipes in my car (when going in i'll clean cart handle).

At some point, a ways down the road yet, banks will probably start requiring us to lower them, tho in my small town they seem to recognize us all the minute we walk on, even woth the masks.

I wear a mask in stores and other enclosed spaces.

I have a supply on hand and will probably continue to wear them at times for the rest of my life.

IMO we probably should have been wearing them years earlier during the flu season.

Now that the notion of looking odd has been removed I believe that wearing masks will become fairly routine.

We may even see mask warnings on the evening news. Red, Yellow, Green, etc... very similar to the pollen warnings.

We still have restrictions in place here. I realize the mask is necessary now but can't wait for the day I can finally go out without it. Praying that day is soon.

I've been vaccinated and wear a mask when around people, I don't want to be around anyone not wearing one, so I stay home and pick up groceries and meds curbside. I think we will have some form of COVID as long as there is a certain percentage of people that will not follow the rules.

NO BLOODY WAY! I can't stand wearing those diapers. You got to understand it from my view! I wear glasses and I wear hearing aids. When I take the mask off, then almost always the hearing aids come out and they can be found usually on the ground. Young people who don't wear glasses and don't have hearing aids might be laughing at us ole' timers but that is the way it is with me. We still have to wear diapers when we go into stores but I stopped wearing the darn things about 2 weeks ago when it comes to walking through my condo.

I'm going to wear a mask during cold/flu season. I've not had the flu since my kids were very young (so over 20 years). But I get colds in winter, and it was great having the last winter and the last two springs without getting one. Of course, the price of admission to that gratitude was far too steep (Covid).

I like to wear a mask when I am out in puplic but sometimes I forget to take one. I have enjoyed not having colds and other infectious ailments during this pandemic. Sometines I will also spray a soapy water mix from a spray bottle on my mask and let it dry out hoping that the soap in the mask will help to kill germs. I also will spray the soapy mixture on my clothes in a effort to kill viruses. Some time I have used the lemon fresh dish soap as my soap water mixture. If nothing else when I m out and about I smell sqeaky clean and lemon fresh.

I've not worn a mask since this started, and continue to be the healthiest person I know, so I will keep on not wearing a mask for this reason. Also, I will continue to not wear a mask, so I can keep helping other people to be healthy too!

Something else many people who don't wear glasses don't realize:
Glasses restrict peripheral vision & that is a bigger factor if you're very nearsighted (like I am) because the difference between your corrected field of view & your uncorrected peripheral vision is much greater.
A mask interferes with my peripheral vision even more & when I'm walking through a parking lot, I need to see cars moving on my left & right. That's why I never put my mask on until I enter a store. And I never wear a mask outside.

A better suggestion that I've been using:
After each use, I spray both sides of my mask with alcohol. It dries in a few minutes & probably does a better job of killing germs than soap.
At first, I thought the alcohol would damage a paper mask, but it doesn't.

From the get-go I've only worn a mask when I went into a place where they're required. Right now that's doctors offices, the bank, and the local grocery store. So I'll wear one if there's a sign saying "masks required".

I have to wear one at work. I'm wearing one shopping at all times. I don't wear one to go to my car or take the garbage out at my apartment complex.

I even wear one when I go to my workplace to feed the cats that are there everyday. Sometimes a co-worker approaches me or there could be a homeless person around. Once one was sleeping next to the parking lot.

Masks are required here, in all public places. It was so nice not to have a cold or flu this past winter. I will definitely continue wearing a mask every winter, just for that reason.

My hubby wears hearing aids, and it is a problem .. he has to be very careful when removing the mask. We also both wear glasses. I tuck the top of the mask under the bottom of my glasses frame, and get no fogging up of lenses.
