At 77 Never Ate A Vegetable

Al Michaels 77 years old is a famous successful sports broadcaster and was interviewed recently by Bob Costas on HBO. Michaels stated emphatically he has never once eaten a vegetable. His parents were both 18 when he was born and never pushed the issue. Maybe this says we might worry a little too much about diet. I am not agreeing with it but he is living proof it won't kill you.

I think that's what it means to be an omnivore, our bodies are able to adapt to the food that is available.

I'm sure that there is an optimal mix of foods that we should eat but in the end, it's all just fuel.
