I was watching the athletics from Rome yesterday and
I got to thinking, how do "Pole Vaulters", get their pole
to meetings?
I don't mean the top people, who are very good, or even
those representing their country, they have a team who
are employed to look after all the athletes and their gear,
this is more about a youngster who is quite good and is
getting better, so his or her parents take them to the meet,
but how will the pole get there, they would need a rather
large vehicle, like a motor home, or do they use UPS or an
other such company?
