This was an interesting attempt at theft. I thief copied what looked like an authentic outline of a friends Facebook account. Began a conversation with me once I was on board asking me if I had heard of a new govt scheme were money was being given to retirees up to $A100.000 tax free and no need to repay - a few conversations took place before that crunch line which were a fair pass at normality. But because I had known this person for the past 60 yrs I knew her every inflection, and it soon became obvious it was not she.
He was attempting to entice me off facebook and onto another site from which my monies would have been perhaps 'invested' and removed? - I deleted the copied Fb copy of friends account and contacted here and advised closing down her authentic one. Or maintaining if she wanted with stricker controlled added?
