Awesome Dogs of War Statues

I just saw this in a magazine and had to look it up. It's an Ohio artist who specializes in wood carving. He made a series of life-sized dogs. Each one honors a different conflict. Definitely a moving tribute to service dogs everywhere.

There was a fuzzy old photo in my dad's stuff that showed a "war dog cemetery". I finally located where it was - Guam (he was there during WWII). This isn't his picture....I don't have it with me...but it's one of the same cemetery that I found on the internet.

Dogs are just the most awesome so it's wonderful to see someone actually honouring them!
