Bald Eagle Parents Caring for their Babies

I have been following this for awhile. I saw the mama bird feed the little ones. I hit the live web cam just at the right time. Amazing, and so nice to be able to watch. It seems to me it takes longer for this type of bird to leave the nest. Not like the small wild birds we have around here.

That's very interesting. I saw a PBS special on the same subject. I never see eagles where I live so it's good to see them online or on TV.

We are lucky enough to have a pair in our neighborhood. Wonderful to watch them glide so effortlessly.

However we do have to have a version of neighbourhood watch where if they are spotted soaring low in the hunt for prey someone yells "Eagle" as a warning to bring small dogs and cats in.
