OMG, that brought back memories.
I was stationed at Okinawa Japan when I was in the Air Force. It's an actual tropical island (kinda like their Hawaii). We had the windows of our house open most of the year, the neighbors did too, so we could hear their phone ring.
We had 2 love birds, lovely orange and peach colors. One of them learned to perfectly imitate the neighbors phone ringing. We didn't realize it until we closed the windows!!
