We are getting a lot of rain here in Mobile today, but no wind to speak of. It's actually a good thing because we are just coming off a very hot and dry spell and we needed the rain. Plus it's 75 degrees right now. A welcome change from the mid to high 90's of late.

No RR, not this storm ... we might get some rain tonight and that would be a good thing.

No electrical power, hot temperatures and high humidity, all part of living in the glorious south. Still beats shoveling snow.

I think I'd rather shovel snow (or hire someone to do it for me) than have my house flooded.

High humidity is the killer for me.

Spent time n the Red Sea and in Central America and found the humidity draining.

Give me the no dry heat of the Sahara and Arabia any time. I suspect your own Death Valley would be similar.
