Beautiful fireball streaking across Canada

I just saw this article about a beautiful fireball that went over Canada. Amazingly, a photographer happened to be out there to take pictures of the Aurora Borealis, and had his camera on when the moteor streaked overhead.
An interesting thing is that we have had more of these meteors coming close to the earth than we usually have.

Last month, there was anther huge fireball that was seen by many people , and went over Russia.
There was also some kind of explosion in the same area of Russia, and occurred at the same time period, which left a deep burned-looking hole in the ground.
So far, we have been lucky, and any of these that did not burn up in the atmosphere have crashed in uninhabited places; but one never knows where a meteor might go on its path.

When I lived in Idaho, I had gone out to feed the horses, and suddenly, the whole sky lit up like it was daylight. A bright green-colored fireball streaked across the sky and down behind the mountains and trees. Soon, I both heard and felt the crash of it landing.
I never heard anything about it on the news; so I don't know what it was or where it landed.
