Beautiful Lighthouses

Found some nice OZ ones.

What this one lights up made me snicker a bit.
Cape Willoughby, in South Australia, was first lighthouse erected in South Australia, in 1852. It lights the Backstairs Passage between Kangaroo Island and the mainland.

Some more pretty lighthouses, well photographed.

Beautiful! So glad to see that Peggy's Cove is in there. The federal government decided a few years ago that they wouldn't preserve any of our lighthouses and there was such an uproar about this one in particular, that the province and private citizens kicked in the $$ to keep it going. Peggy's Cove is about 1/2 hour from where I live and a lovely drive.

All of them are beautiful. Thanks for posting.

Just remembered why Peggy's Cove rang a bell, I had a stamp of it I used a lot when I made cards. (Geeze my data recovery system is getting slow, it's taken me all day to 'download' the memory.)

I've been to #4 that's on our coast. We have loads of nice lighthouses on the west coast, but I will agree the 10 listed are beautiful.

Here are Oregon Coast lighthouses, I'm a loner (I'm married, he is a loner too), so I thought living in a lighthouse would be a perfect place for me, well us. I suppose I'd have to take the mister along too and the dog.
