Behind the Scenes of Frankenstein 1931

Great stuff, Paladin! I always wanted to see how Karloff was made up for the 1931 role. And I always loved the great Elsa Lanchester's make-up in Bride of Frankenstein (1935).

That was probably Clive Owen's greatest role, playing Dr. Frankenstein. It's too bad he was a hopeless alcoholic, and died at only aged 37.

Another thing that ticked me about that movie is that in the original, in the scene with the cute little girl at the lake, the monster ends up throwing the girl into the lake, where she drowns. That was cut out in some versions of the film so as to keep up sympathy for the monster.
