..have you ever witnessed anything like this ?
This is a public beach... she screamed abuse at tourists on the beach as she tried to rope off part of it as her own...because she owns a home near it..
The California Coastal Commission, a state agency that oversees more than 1,000 miles of coastline, found the 'Karen of the week' violated the California Costal Act.
Under California law, the state owns the beach waterward of the mean high tide line, meaning the public can use all areas between this point and the sea.
According to documents viewed by KCAL-TV, the commission argued the homeowner 'was verbally harassing those beachgoers.'
The Coastal Commission also said using ropes to block off the sand is 'not legal, and she must remove them.'
The woman has two weeks to comply or she could face fines of up to $11,000 per day.
'Park Rangers spoke with the residents, informing them that such behavior is unacceptable regardless of property boundaries and reminding them that any beach related issues should be reported to the city for mediation,' the City of Laguna Beach said.
The video starts with the homeowner shouting 'there goes the fence!' as she bundles out of her home equipped with a spool of white string.
She throws the spool toward the sand, shouting at the tourists to leave.
'I can say whatever I want to, so get f***ing moving,' she screams.
