Benghazi - Cover Up By BOTH Parties?

It started out as "ITS ALL BUSHS FAULT".
The present administration wants no part in it especially since this is election year.

If you make a living politicking that means the status quo must be maintained at ALL COST, by any means necessary-in their eyes anyway. These are establishment politicians exploiting this for their own gain and status.

Personally I think this was an Iran-Contra type arms smuggling scheme. The skeleton crew at the embassy was to facilitate arms deals with the favored side in Syria which also has al-Qaeda ties. So to cover up an arms deal with political ramifications domestically & internationally justice and proper closure for those killed will be delayed.
 
Progress made in investigation. I think false expectations on a speedy finding/result were created which has lead to frustration on the political side. This should've been a more low key investigation especially with incomplete evidence and testimony.

Finally, years after the fact National Security Advisor Susan Rice interviewed. And this is what people have to realize witnesses are still being questioned and evidence still coming out to be investigated. Might not be "the" smoking gun people are looking for but it's at least bringing forward issues and policies that might still be in play today.

The question is was a possible "cover up" to cover incompetence, policy gone awry or a scandal.
