About a year ago, we joined a bridge group. And we made some fast friends. In particular, two ladies with whom we have shared dinners, and laughs and vacations. Today, keeping social distancing in mind, we met on Deanna's covered patio and had our own happy hour. Her yard is beautiful, full of birds and butterflies. We practiced social distancing. More or less. We had a fabulous time -- laughter, discussion, and more laughter. And vodka gimlets. So good for my soul. We agreed to do it again next week. I wanted to hug them, but of course that's a no go. Love them so much!
