Best way to Trim Nose Hair

I remember my dad having a small pair of scissors to do that task, but the idea of sticking something sharp up there doesn't sit well. Some suggest that nose hair should not be trimmed as it serves as sort of a filter and protects the nasal passages. Any feedback on this?

Presumably, nasal hair filters out stuff you don't necessarily want to inhale, but past a certain age you grow way more of it than you need.

I use a small electric shaver specially made for nare hair.

I use this to trim those unsightly chin hairs we women don’t like to admit having and while I’m at it, I trim the hair in my nose as well. It has definitely gotten more profuse in my senior years😂. Those round nasal hair trimmers seem to pull the hairs out rather than trimming it and that hurts!

A few years ago, a certain lady who lives over the road, bought a contraption whereby a hair is gripped and electricity or something kills the hair and the hair falls out with the root.
Being the gormless type, I agreed to allow her to try it out on my nostril hairs, but, either she didn't electrocute the hairs for long enough or my hairs were too well anchored. The result being, she laughed herself silly and I buggered off home with a sore nose. 😊

Not something that affects me personally but a few men I know trim their nasal hair with small, sharp, pointed scissors, just inside the nostril you don’t have to shove the scissors right up there !
