Big snowstorm expected to hit New Jersey and surrounding states.

I had a feeling we weren't done with winter quite yet. It isn't the first time we had a last minute storm. I remember one Easter when my kids were small they made a snowman and put Daffodils in its arm that they found blooming in a protected spot by the house.. It really doesn't affect me, but I do feel for the folks that have to go to work or travel.

Be careful Ruth, stay warm and safe! We got hit again today with some unexpected high winds, they say some snow or rain may develop overnight, but it will probably be very little precipitation. We haven't had a big snowstorm yet this winter, but anything can happen until May arrives.

Thank you SeaBreeze,we have a generator should we lose power. I mainly worry about my bird getting cold. We have no intention of going anywhere. High winds are no fun either. Mother Nature can have a nasty streak sometimes.

That's a big concern Ruth, I hope you can keep your bird warm and comfy, and out of any drafts. Nice to be able to stay home and have nothing pressing to do outdoors, that's what we do in blizzard-like weather.

CT will be hit too, even blizzard conditions along the shoreline. I'm practically in the center, so only up to a foot for me! Ruth and everyone, be careful.

Ruth, maybe a heating pad set on low powered by the generator for your bird?

MA. is expected to get between 1-2 feet of snow. I'm not looking forward to this.
