Bizarre UFO-like cloud hovers over Turkey

Wow...I have never seen any cloud like this! Can anyone explain how it formed?

Lenticular clouds form above mountaintops in a lentil shape, because of the mountain's cone configuration. Often, they get blown to one side by winds, so they're no longer above the mountain.

It appears that this cloud was formed over a fairly long period (days?) before leaving its mountain home. Hence the multiple waves or layers.

The orange color is because the cloud appeared over the city at dawn.

We saw a lenticular cloud last summer, out in the countryside. Unfortunately, we didn't think to take a
photo. It was a saucer shape.
