Black Bean Pasta

When I first saw this in the store, I thought it was a container of black licorice. I wanted to try it. It tasted fine, but cooked up really soft and mushy. Next time I will not cook for the full 10 minutes it says on the package directions. Do you think this would be something that would appeal to you?

Because I have to eat gluten free I've tried many products. The best gluten free pasta,taste wise in my mind, is made from brown rice only. It holds its shape well,doesn't have an odd taste and is never mushy as long as you don't over cook it. I love black beans but I'll save them for my black bean soup. The black bean pasta most likely has more nutrients than the rice pasta though.
