Black FRIDAY starting on THURSDAY?

I'm watching TV with all the promos about BLACK FRIDAY sales which start on THURSDAY? I dunno. I like Black Friday to start on Friday. It was fun being on line at 6 AM. But then, again, once you gobbled the gobbler, there ain't much to do. So what starting of Black Friday do you like best?

In the past Nordstrom had posted this sign:



I didn't see a sign this year but their website says their Black Friday deals start online on Thursday in their stores on Friday. I like that.
