Just beautiful Ken. We have an American Red Bud as well but it struggles here in New Jersey. Very slow grower it seems. We also had a beautiful Wisteria but in later years the leaves came out before the blooms and then when the blooms did open most were hidden by the leaves. Maybe climate change,not sure.

I've driven through the Texas hill country a few times when the wild Blue Bonnet's are in full bloom and it's a sight to behold.....how much longer till they are in bloom Ken ?
