Trying to improve on Nature's design? It looks weirdly alien to me, like some of those extraterrestrials on the Star Trek franchise. There is even debates about whether it actually improves your back of the head hearing. Comments?

PVC, it looks weirdly alien to me too; we've never seen it before. :)

In time, people will get used to stuff like this, but right now I think it's funny-looking. :lofl:

What people do to their bodies amazes me.
Yes what do these people do for a living ?
I can’t imagine having a fashion like this with my lifestyle.
Can you imagine all the things that could potentially get caught in the ears ?
I find it horrifying even to look at. Lol

The worst thing I ever saw was a guy whose been dubbed The parrot man.. he altered his face to look like a parrot, and even cut his ears off to ''look the same'' .. this is a serious mental health problem IMO>..

Crazy! I have a panic attack because I have to add a new eyedrop to my high eye pressure regime!

Thankfully my health triggered anxiety would never let me do anything like this ....worrying about infection and who knows what else from these procedures.

That guy in my post and the Parrot guy, by cutting out the ear, they're no longer able to know the direction where the sound they hear is coming from. At least that's what I understand about ears.

I just wonder what makes these people want to have their body deformed like that, their need for attention seems extreme. I agree with HollyDolly that they have "serious mental health problem", nothing else makes sense.

That was my first thought; that I wouldn't want my hearing impaired by such lunacy. This stuff makes me realize why they still put warning labels "Do Not Drink" on bleach bottles; you can't fix stupid.

Just listening to him talk we can tell he's got some kind of mental issues... did you notice he's even had his eyeballs dyed too?

Yes I did notice his eyeballs. I just meant he sounded pleasant, I didn't hear anything like mental issues, but he sure looked it. Maybe it's that Brit accent that makes everything sound "all's well" :playful:
