Pretty sure it's ok for ladies to post here! How are you anyway?

My daily vehicle since the late '70s has been a pickup. I currently have a '17 Toyota Tacoma, had an '11 before that. Also a 1991 when they were just called "Toyotas." Also had Chevys, Fords, Datsun/Nissan.


Here's what a deer did to my current Tacoma in April 2018:

Ugh.Nearly hit an elk herd last Sunday night.Cow stepped right out in front of us with the herd right behind her.Thankfully she pulled herself up short,spun around and blocked the herd.This is about what I figured my Acadia would have looked like had we hit her-worse if we had hit more than one....

Although my son`s Tacoma looked pretty much the same after hitting a turkey about 11 years ago. Was only $4,400 back then, but repair costs have skyrocketed since then. Husband is in the business.

Wow. An elk. That would not have been good.

If I'd hit that deer while driving my Vette it could have come right through the windshield. Luckily, with the truck being much higher, I walked away with nary a scratch. Was doing maybe 50 mph.

That`s what I was afraid of-well,I`m always afraid of that on that road. We did hit an elk-he was just a young one-several years agur son in law was driving.Damaged the car but all 10 of us were fine.I think the elk was too-he ran off.
