Braunschweiger mock pate recipe

Found my recipe.
I like Braunschweiger plain with some mayo but this is a good appetizer.

Mock Pate

1 lb Braunsweiger
1/2 cup butter
1 large sweet onion minced
8 oz cream cheese
dash hot pepper sauce

Mix all at room temperature.
Serve with party rye or toasted rye crackers.

I like braunsweiger but onions and hot sauces are out of my diet for now. I think braunsweiger is often seasoned with garlic too, so it would be a no-no for now. Liverwurst would probably be better for me. Recipe sounds delicious. I like pates in general. TFS.
