Brian Laundrie wrote he was responsible for Gabby Petito’s death, FBI says

Is it me or is this wrongly stated?
"Federal investigators formally closed the book on the probe that ended with the discovery of the body of Petito, a 22-year-old social media influencer, on Sept. 19 in Wyoming."
I thought they did that when they found his body. Anyway...we knew he did it and he probably just couldn't live with himself any longer, especially knowing that he'd be going to jail (probably) for life.

interesting wording..... about it was closed when body found

This is what happens when the court of media is involved ...
yes most likely he did kill her but we really do not know .... any more then speculation on why he killed himself either.
I understand the idea of media to help find missing people etc .....
but anymore i feel we are shown just enough information and speculation to assume how things went.

this seems like a basic non -story .....as no real details.

why even say this ... why keep it alive .........if relevant info tell concerned family..... but let them get on with their lives...

the 15 minutes is over but media KNOWS some will click on it ...
more people are known or infamous for crimes then actual good things or talent....
 

I recently saw a headline that indicated some are blaming the police when they responded to their domestic violence call which is unfair quiet frankly to the police. They can only act on known or established fact.

My thing with this relationship and end is that I highly doubt this is the first time he got violent or aggressive with her which should've been a red flag to her much sooner. I just can't see someone leaping from nice guy to murderer. To me there had to be prior signs.

I'm surprised no aiding and abetting charges were filed against the parents. I have to wonder did they not only help their son flee/avoid the police but knew if their son and girlfriend had prior fights or arguments on the intense side. I doubt their issues or fights started in the desert or mountains out west.
