Sarah Everard went missing in London over a week ago,
her body was eventually found in Kent last week and a
serving Metropolitan Policeman has been charged with
her kidnap and murder!
A vigil was arranged and permission asked for but it was
refused, yet some women, around 1,500 went to a park
in London, placed flowers on the bandstand in memory
of Sarah.
This started in the afternoon, at around 6 PM lots more
arrived and some started making speeches, the Police then
decided, "that is enough, they are not keeping their distance
from each other", they then started pushing women around
and the whole thing got really messy, the women started
shouting "shame on you" and the police just got worse.
A similar vigil held in Glasgow, which is reckoned to be a hard
place, went by with no trouble at all.
Very sad really and the video shown on the TV News is upsetting.
