A British school is going to finger print students to monitor diet.

Oh where do we start. Finger printing non criminals invasion of privacy for starters. If you don't think those finger prints & associated records will wind up in places other than school files your fooling yourself. Then there is the diet or what they are buying. This is micro management of student lives-before you know it they'll get called to the principals office to eat more carbs or something.
Then there is an unnecessary reliance & use of technology just to eat lunch.
It might be England but this is what many want and would welcome in a heartbeat here in America.
