British TV presenter Jonnie Irwin has died

Bless him... he bore that Cancer of the brain with such stoicism and Bravery , and continued with his job, and even took his family his little baby children on holiday to Spain as recently as November... too young to die age 50..

... bless you Johnnie , Tv will be the worse for not having you as a presenter..

He seemed such a lovely guy and cared so deeply for his family. He said he was worried his children would not remember him but, I am sure his wife and family will make sure that doesn't happen. It was sad to hear that he had passed away.

I enjoyed seeing him on "Escape to the Country" when I could get the show in the past. So sorry to hear he passed.

This man was a true gentleman, I loved the way he presented in Escape to the Country, he will be missed. I was shocked at the treatment he received from the powers that be on his former show, I hope they lost viewers. It is not right to fire somebody just because of their illness, he went on to prove them wrong. Prayers for him and for his family
