I think I'm in Florida, but I'm not sure any more.
You couldn't make this up. The fireworks downtown tonight in Sanford have been cancelled because of weather.

No danger to us....no....but due to the fact that lightning hit the barge (or whatever they were on) and BLEW THEM UP!!! I'm sure it was spectacular.

Oh, well, it's back to watching the neighbors blowing THEMSELVES up, without the help of the elements.

My father's birthday was the 4th of July. When I was a little boy we always celebrated with fireworks. That ended when WW2 came along.
