Already there are wide spread fires burning across Australia.
Warnings have been issued for an increased bushfire season.

Stay safe! Do any of them ever get close to you?

No, never. I live in the middle of a large city, population 2.1 million people.
Fires sometimes on the outskirts. Yesterday, arsonists set fire to Kings Park, which is right in the middle of Perth.
I am never threatened by fires.
