Butter for daily use at your house. Counter top or frig?

I'm counter top in a covered container but since moving to Florida, I only put out a half stick at a time.

Depends on the weather.

I use about a stick of butter a month and normally keep it in the freezer until I need a stick. If I'm using it for toast I keep a half stick out on the counter. in cool weather, otherwise it's in the refrigerator.

I had a butter bell and it worked fine but I was too lazy to use it properly so back to the thrift shop it went.

Refrigerator, unless I'm preparing to bake with it. It would go rancid, and I hate things on my counters.

We don't use it everyday, so it stays in the fridge. If I'm going to use it for a meal, I'll take it out and let it soften on the table.

Anything out on my counter top is subject to being hijacked by my dog, so -- the refrigerator. I almost never use butter anymore, though, anyway.
